Are you a procrastinator or are you an action oriented individual? Some people want to take action but don't know how. It's not a problem. The problems comes when that problem keeps stirring you in the face asking you: what are you going to do? Your answer probably goes something like this: "Let me think about it," or "I will get to it next week," "I am out of town," and the list goes on, on and on. I have analyzed successful people and the one common thread I notice is they all know how to TAKE ACTION WITHOUT COMPLETE INFORMATION
That what sets them apart and keeps them at the top of the food chain Yes, getting more information about something is great, but by the time you get all the information, the opportunity may have already disappeared. This happens alot in certain highly regulated industries like Financial Services. On the contrary, complete information is always worth its weight in gold. For instance, gathering market intelligence with which to launch a new strategy or enter an unproven territory. In the final analysis, it's not when you make the decision but actually taking action. Did you know that for 90 percent of the decisions we make everyday, we don't need complete information? It boils down to making the decision or not making the decision. Of course, one caveat is if you need to get approval or permission to take action.
Nevertheless, I will submit that you don't need complete information to TAKE ACTION. TAKE ACTION THIS NEW MONTH AND LET'S CIRCLE BACK IN 30 DAYS AND YOU WILL BE SUPRISED AT WHAT YOU'VE ACCOMPLISHED.
