Did you know that the VA allows state agencies to determine and "approve" courses you can take? WTF? California is notorious for not allowing Veterans take "career enhancing" professional certification courses and pay for it with their Post 911 GI Bill!
VA fix this issue! On this Hack #13, we expose the CSAAVE and their "blanket" education course approval process that frankly does not seem fair to Veterans!
Stanford University has expressed concerned about this and we can relate to why only 5 states allow the use of the Post 911 GI Bill for professional certifications.
The incoming administration will definitely be looking into this disaster of a program. Veteran have earned the right to use their Post 911 GI Bill education benefits!
It is high time the process is streamline to allow our Veterans to take full advantage of all educational opportunities: career enhancing or not.
